I had high expectations coming into this trip. And they were surpassed in almost every way. Vanessa and Tamara have put together a trip full of only the best experiences. They take care of their guests, going the extra mile to take care of the logistics so that you are free to fully drink in the experience. I felt like each day, Vanessa and Tamara sprinkled a bit of pixie dust on us to bring a bit of unexpected magic to the trip. Should we go punting on the River Cherwell—in the rain? Yes! I’ll take that with a side of laughter. Have you tried this unusual but delicious chocolate? No? Let’s pass that around the bus. Would you like to pretend you’re a Brontë sister walking broodily on the moors? Yes! Well, we’ve got a local to lead the way! Every. Day. More. Magic. Midway through the trip, I realized that I was going to be sad when this trip was over because I was leaving not only beautiful England, but also beautiful new friends. This is the perfect trip to find self-selected friends. We all signed up to tour England and visit author sites. That’s a niche group that you are going to absolutely bond with!

I dream about this trip often and wish I could go back every year. I loved how we explored all over the country, trying different housing often as well as food options. Vanessa and Tamara were very organized and knowledgeable. I don’t have a favorite day. They were all my favorite.

This tour exceeded my expectations! I was expecting to see author sites, but this trip ended up being so much more! I was blown away by every detail! Our accommodations, meals, activities, and friendships were a highlight!

The British Book Club Tour opened my eyes to the best of British authors, discovering new ones that I hadn’t explored yet. The tour made it so enjoyable as we didn’t have to worry about all the details of transportation, lodging & food. It was fun to meet new like-minded people and create new friendships that have continued after the tour.

Tamara and Vanessa are extremely knowledgeable and took care of every detail so we could relax and enjoy ourselves. We stayed in beautiful locations and ate delicious food every night. It was an amazing experience and I wish I could do it all over again.
